    We have Carpenter Bees here that are all black, and really shiny. They're almost as big as hummingbirds. I'm afraid of them. Great photo!

      I thought this was a Bumble bee until I saw the black circle on it's back. The shiny butt also threw me off. I came in and Googled :)

      Yikes!!! I'd be afraid of a bee that size too!
